Yezidi fire weapons into the air after treking up and down to the shrine of Karajal near Duhok in Northern Iraq Wednesday April 21, 2004. The shooting is another way to show respect for their ancient holy man who died more than 800 years ago. Yezidi have returned to the site each year during the second Wednesday in April according to their calendar.
