Team pop trivia

This week's winner: Gloria Chonka of New Port Richey knew that Charles Mingus' Fables of Faubus is about Arkansas Gov. Orval Faubus, who tried to prevent integration in public schools during the 1950s.

This week's question: Jazz great Duke Ellington was born on this date in 1899. Ellington's father, James Edward Ellington, was the butler at a very prominent residence. To enter your name in the random drawing for the Weekend T-shirt, tell us where the senior Ellington worked.

Fax entries to Team Pop Trivia, 727 892-2327, e-mail gina@sptimes.com or mail to: Team Pop Trivia, c/o Weekend, St. Petersburg Times, P.O. Box 1121, St. Petersburg, FL 33731.
