During a recent staff meeting, Daniel Richard, broker and owner of Exit Success Realty, announced that his offices had received four statewide awards given by the Florida Region of Exit Realty International.
Exit Success Realty, with offices at 13215 Spring Hill Drive in Spring Hill and 3436 Shoal Line Blvd. in Hernando Beach, was ranked fourth in the state for production during the past year.
Lou Kaplan of the Spring Hill office was ranked second among all the Exit agents statewide for the number of new listings over the past year.
Lance and Sharon Sutter, managers of the Hernando Beach office, were ranked third statewide in team sales volume as well as third in closed sales for the past year.
During the meeting, Richard presented local awards to other outstanding agents. Ruth Hersh and Marie Hall received the "dare to soar" award; Cynthia Coelyn received the sales excellence award; Charles D'Angelo received the "above and beyond" award, and Ron Bain received the corporate appreciation award.

Charlene Brooks recently opened All American Hair, 10712 County Line Road, Unit 11, a family hair salon decorated in a sports theme, complete with a race car chair for children.
The salon specializes in men's, women's and children's haircuts, as well as perms, coloring, nails and waxing.

The Inman and Millan families recently opened the Sugar Cone Cafe in the Western Way Plaza, 12977 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill.
The cafe, operated by George and Luz Inman and their son-in-law and daughter, Jason and Lucy Millan; their daughter, Rachael Inman, and grandchildren Antonio and Aryana Millan, is a family-run business.
Sugar Cone Cafe offers Working Cow Homemade Ice Cream, a premium ice cream. The cafe also carries gourmet coffee and desserts, such as strawberry shortcake with cappuccino or a pirouline and latte.
Owners George and Luz Inman are both schoolteachers in Hernando County. The family works in teams and takes turns opening and closing the cafe and representing the business at community events.

Steven Pearson of ERA Pearson Realty, 4054 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, recently announced that multimillion-dollar producers Rick Swisher and Marie Badia, Realtor-associates, have joined forces to create the team of Badia/Swisher. They specialize in residential sales as well as commercial and vacant land.
Badia, a Pasco and Hernando resident for 27 years, has been assisting customers with real estate needs for many years. A graduate of the Realtor Institute, she also holds a mortgage broker's license, a degree in accounting and is currently working toward her bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of South Florida.
Swisher, a retired firefighter, has been with ERA Pearson for two years and became a multiple million-dollar producer in his first year. He has developed quickly into a top producing agent.
Swisher was recently honored with the top overall agent award from Top Gun Academy for executing 76 transactions in an eight-week period.
