A woman died after being thrown from a car involved in a crash on N Armenia Avenue, near W Wilder Avenue, about 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
According to Tampa police, a 1988 Toyota southbound on N Armenia struck a Saturn trying to make a left turn. The Toyota hit the passenger side, ejecting the Saturn's passenger onto the roadway.
Police have not released the names of those involved in the crash.
They suspect the accident is alcohol-related and charges are pending against both drivers, the report said.
