Guest panelists include professor Nick Cox, coordinator for the Elder Consumer Protection Program at the law center at Stetson University in Gulfport; Gregory Gay, elder law attorney and Seniority columnist; Lynda Gurvitz, a psychologist and contributing writer to Seniority; Jeff Johnson, grassroots and elections coordinator for the state AARP office; Jay Morgan, Office on Aging manager with the recreation department for the city of St. Petersburg; and Nancy Paradis, St. Petersburg Times Action columnist. The panel will present a variety of topics, from consumer protection to Medicare prescription drug cards to the psychology of healthy aging.
There will be door prizes, free information packets and a continental breakfast. A $2 admission fee is payable in advance or at the door (seating is limited). Make checks or money orders payable to the St. Petersburg Times.
