ZEPHYRHILLS - A 46-year-old man was arrested Tuesday, accused of having sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl during March 2003.

The teen, whose name was withheld, told a Pasco County sheriff's detective that Daniel Bartrum of 1224 Bobolink St. in Zephyrhills performed oral sex on her and tried to have sex with her between March 1 and 30, 2003.

When questioned, Bartrum confirmed the teen's story, the Sheriff's Office reported.

Bartrum was charged with lewd and lascivious battery. He was being held at Land O'Lakes Jail Wednesday in lieu of $20,000 bail.
