Vic Symonds will discuss Intel's hyperthreading technology at 7 p.m. May 17 at the Hernando Computer Club, Shrine Club, 13400 Montour St., Brooksville. For information, visit www.hcc.org or call 352 592-0070.

An eight-hour class for Adobe Photoshop Elements Basics offered by the Tampa Bay Computer Society starts May 21. Classes will be two hours each on four Friday evenings, starting at 7 p.m. The fee is $40 for computer society members and $70 for nonmembers, which includes a one-year membership. A free Random Acts of Kindness Computer Repair Clinic will be held at 10 a.m. May 27 at the Gulfport Public Library, 5501 28th Ave. S. Sponsored by the library and the Tampa Bay Computer Society, the clinic will have volunteers who will diagnose and repair IBM-compatible PCs. Registration is required at www.synergypublishing.com
