Preds put mojo on VooDoo

NEW ORLEANS - Joe Hamilton threw three touchdowns and ran for a score, leading the Orlando Predators to a 45-40 win over the VooDoo in the Arena Football League on Sunday.

Hamilton was 14-of-21 for 160 yards. The former Bucs quarterback also rushed for 50 yards on five carries.

Kenny McEntyre made two of Orlando's four interceptions, and Cory Fleming had one. Fleming also added five catches for 56 yards and a touchdown for the Predators (7-6), who stopped New Orleans (9-4) on its final drive.

Orlando's Jay Gruden, brother of Bucs coach Jon Gruden, became the ninth coach to reach 50 wins.

AUSTIN 48, DALLAS 36: Former Storm quarterback John Kaleo threw five touchdowns to lead the host Wranglers. Dane Krager's 3-yard TD run late in the third quarter gave Austin a 42-22 lead.

ARIZONA 58, SAN JOSE 41: Sherdrick Bonner threw seven touchdowns for the host Rattlers.

BENGALS: Quarterback Kurt Kittner was waived less than two weeks after he was claimed off waivers from the Falcons. Kittner was Atlanta's fifth-round pick in 2002. He started four games and appeared in seven last season, going 44-of-114 for 391 yards with two touchdowns and six interceptions.

NFL EUROPE: Mike Shafer kicked two second-half field goals and quarterback Chad Hutchinson, allocated from the Dallas Cowboys, threw two touchdowns to lead the Rhein Fire to a 20-13 victory over the Amsterdam Admirals in Duesseldorf, Germany. ... The Frankfurt Galaxy used a smothering defense to defeat the Scottish Claymores 15-13 in Glasgow and gain a share of first place. A 3-yard pass from J.T O'Sullivan to Corey McIntyre staked the Galaxy to a 6-3 first-quarter lead. It was the only offensive score. The Galaxy (5-1) is tied with the Berlin Thunder atop the standings.
