Dunedin sinks Palm Harbor

No.62 Dunedin opened the District 12 senior baseball end-of-season tournament Saturday by beating No.60 Palm Harbor 9-4. Josh Paqutte, Derek Morris and Kevin Maloney each had multiple hits for Dunedin. Pitcher Dante Roberts got the win.

No.46 Oldsmar defeated No.65 West Pasco Cubs 11-6. Justin Bosker went 3-for-3 with four runs, and Michael Papa had a triple, double and three RBIs. Chris Newell, who drove in four runs, got the win.

MAJOR SOFTBALL: No.27 Oldsmar beat No.32 Palm Harbor 10-2 on Monday. Erin Rawls and Kelsey Oonk combined to strike out 12. ... No.26 Madison Saganowich threw a four-hitter as No.26 Safety Harbor defeated No.55 Hudson 15-3. ... Ana Alberti had a three-run triple in No.29 Tarpon Springs' 12-2 win over No.54 West Pasco. Stephanie Duplessis and Alex Haley each had two hits and two RBIs.... Rachel Baskin struck out six as No.23 Largo beat No.33 Countryside 17-16.
