Civic activist George Feaster receives Humanitarian Award

LARGO - George Feaster received the Humanitarian Award at the 29th annual Largo Mayor's Interfaith Prayer Breakfast.

Since coming to Largo nearly 50 years ago, Feaster has served as president of the Largo Chamber of Commerce, the Largo Lions Club and the West Central Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Feaster has also been one of the driving forces behind the new library's capital campaign. Feaster has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the state of Florida since 1959 and is senior vice president of Moss-Feaster Funeral Homes. He is also a founding director and chairman of Premier Bank in Largo.
