LAND O'LAKES - Two men were arrested Friday on charges of criminal mischief after they were found digging for arrowheads at Cypress Creek Wellfield, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report.

Jason L. Pelliccia, 27, of Seminole and Robert E. Alm, 53, of St. Petersburg were arrested after a deputy saw them on the property. They said they had been told arrowheads could be found there, an arrest report said. An official with the Southwest Florida Water Management District estimated the damage at $10,000.

Pelliccia and Alm were released from the county jail and face future court dates.
