Here's a look at new businesses in the area:

NON-TOXIC CLEANERS: Green Clean, a company dedicated to keeping the environment clean, opened in January. The cleaning company uses only natural, non-toxic and environmentally friendly cleaning products such as vinegar, borax and spearmint. It offers custom cleaning inside and outside homes and small offices. They even do windows. Robert Hiddemen started the business and works out of his Valrico home. His hours are flexible and free consultations are available. Prices depend on size and amount of clutter. Call 689-2900 or 810-0777.

A COOL RIDE: Dream Limousine opened in March with one automobile. Owner Jake Piascik is retiring from the Air Force and will ferry passengers in the white 12-passenger limo full time. He and his wife, Debbie, will be driving the white limousine to the airport, on date nights out, to weddings and proms. This home based business is in Valrico; reach the Piasciks at 662-7300.

RACING FAN: Dennis Lively has been a racing fan all his life and has even raced at several local tracks. Now he is using his experience at Lively Motorsports. The store at 743 W Lumsden Road, Brandon, opened in November and carries official NASCAR diecast cars, jackets, shirts, hats and gloves at discounted prices. The store also offers hard-to-find collectibles and a handles consignment items. Business hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Call 657-1300.

COMPUTER GAMES: The newly opened OP Center is the place for computer gamers to find the latest games with speedy Internet connections. Charles Woodcock, a retired Navy officer and strategic consultant, opened OP Center (OP stands for Operations) in mid April at 2222 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico. Hourly rates start at $5 per hour. Daily rates are $15 during the week and $25 on weekends. Woodcock's plans include a VIP gaming room for private functions and parties, plus a center for small businesses. The center also plans to offer computer classes. Hours are 3 p.m. to midnight Tuesday through Thursday, 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday, noon to 2 p.m. Saturday and noon to midnight Sunday. Call 655-4746.
