Some wild art: An exhibition of artwork by elephants sponsored by the Asian Elephant Art and Conservation Project will be on display through Aug. 27 at the Clearwater Public Library, 100 N Osceola Ave., Clearwater. The exhibit features paintings available for purchase that are done by elephants. Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit organization, which works to save elephants. Puppets: Mrs. Goose (played by Norma Bigler) will present a program of short puppet stories and conduct a puppetmaking workshop at 2 p.m. Saturday on the first floor at the Tarpon Springs Cultural Center, 101 S Pinellas Ave. Admission is $5, $4 for children 12 and younger. HappeningsPICNIC IN THE PARK: Every Friday evening, the public is invited to bring picnic dinners to Largo Central Park and enjoy the new "music in the park" sound system.
