FSU wins 27-3

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Eddy Martinez-Esteve homered twice and drove in six runs and Bryan Zech had a career-high four hits to help Florida State beat Wake Forest 27-3 on Friday.

Dennis Anderson also homered and drove in three runs for the Seminoles (36-19, 15-8 ACC), who had six home runs and 27 hits. It was the second-most runs ever allowed by Wake Forest (17-31, 4-9) and the worst loss in school history.

In FSU's nine-run third, Stephen Drew had a two-run single and Ryne Malone had a run-scoring triple.

Eddie Cannon (8-5) allowed one run in six innings for FSU.
