A smattering of banks and other companies active in the bay area will be part of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey's 33rd annual institutional investor conference in Atlanta this week.
Outback Steakhouse, AmSouth Bancorp., BankAtlantic Bancorp, Compass Bancshares, First National Bancshares of Florida, Synovus Financial Corp., South Financial Group and Brown & Brown are among 130 companies giving presentations.
The conference is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead.
About 300 institutional investors from the United States and abroad are expected to attend, and there are plans to Webcast many of the presentations.
