Kotchman without a K

Angels first baseman Casey Kotchman, a former Seminole star, has not struck out in 46 major-league plate appearances since being promoted from Double-A Arkansas on May 9.

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, that is the longest such streak by any player from the start of his major-league career since Bob Bailor, who went a combined 51 plate appearances with Baltimore and Toronto before his first strikeout in 1977.
