According to oddsmakers Glantz-Culver, the Lightning is a heavy favorite to win the Stanley Cup.

Hockey betting, like baseball, is based on a baseline of $100. For tonight's Game 1, the Lightning is -200. That means a bettor picking the Lightning wins $100 for every $200 bet.

For example, on a winning $20 wager, a bettor gets back the $20 and earns $10 of winnings. The Flames are+

170. So a bettor wins $170 for every $100 bet. On a $20 wager, the bettor gets back the $20 plus $34 in winnings.

For the series, the Lightning is -200 and the Flames +180.
