PINELLAS PARK - Council members are poised to approve a zoning change for 3.14 acres of land on the southeast corner of 66th Street and 94th Avenue N so a Muslim school can be built there.

The school, for grades 1-6, will be down the street from the Islamic Society of Pinellas County, which has its mosque on 94th Avenue N.

The council meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall, 5141 78th Ave. N. The meeting is open to the public.
