"Titanic: The Artifact Exhibit," which has drawn about 200,000 visitors at the Museum of Science and Industry in its seven-month run, is in its final days.
MOSI is extending its hours this weekend to accommodate last-minute visitors, allowing entry to the exhibit until 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday and until 5 p.m. Monday, when the exhibit closes.
The exhibit opened Oct. 4 and includes the largest piece of the ship's hull ever recovered plus artifacts recovered from the ship.
The cost to see the exhibit, museum and one IMAX film is $19.95 for adults, $17.95 for seniors and $15.95 for children. Two Titanic-related films also continue at the IMAX Dome Theatre at MOSI through Monday: Titanica at 10:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. daily and James Cameron's Ghosts of the Abyss at 1 and 3:30 p.m. daily.
MOSI is at 4801 E Fowler Ave., Tampa. 813 987-6100 or www.mosi.org
