SOUTH TAMPA - Any child 18 and younger can get free breakfast and lunch throughout the summer at selected schools.
The meals are part of the National School Lunch Program, which operates sites in low-income communities. A typical breakfast includes a peanut butter and jelly bar, juice and milk. A typical lunch includes pizza sticks with marinara sauce, peach cup, apple juice and milk.
Parents can accompany their children, but the meals are for people 18 and younger and must be eaten at the school.
No reservations or applications are needed. Call the schools for serving times.
