Wolfson's Trimming Store has been sold to Sherril Claus and has relocated to 7010 Sheldon Road from the Greenhouse Center, Dale Mabry Highway and Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa.

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, 10101 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N, St. Petersburg, has been awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the design and development of the steering control section for the canistered countermeasure antitorpedo by the applied research laboratory at Pennsylvania State University.

Carlton Fields, 777 S Harbour Island Blvd., Tampa, received the 2004 David B. Frye Memorial Award, given by SERVE, Volunteers in Education and the Hillsborough County School District. Carlton Fields was recognized for its employees' services as tutors to the students of B.C. Graham Elementary School, Tampa. Lawyers and support staff have volunteered their lunch hour one or two days a week to tutor students.

Tampa Digital Studios, 718 S Howard Ave., Tampa, produced a CD-ROM on preventing hate crimes and building tolerance and diversity for the Florida Regional Community Policing Institute, a grant-funded program that assists law enforcement agencies in sustaining community policing at St. Petersburg College. The CD-ROM included original video, quizzes and games, documented definitions and details of federal and Florida hate crime legislation.
