3-year-old drowns in swimming pool

APOLLO BEACH - A 3-year-old boy drowned Wednesday night after wandering into the swimming pool in the apartment complex where he lived.

James Legar of 12505 N 19th St. in the Majestic Palms Apartments was discovered floating in the complex's pool around 10 p.m., said Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Debbie Carter.

She could not provide further information.
