As summer's heat and humidity descend, gardening becomes more of a chore than a joy. So we welcome a new exhibition at Clay and Paper and the Painted Fish Gallery, 350 Main St., Dunedin, that leaves the climatic vicissitudes outside and brings the beauty indoors to an air-conditioned space. "Garden Mania," which runs through Saturday, celebrates nature in the work of 21 artists and crafters. Work includes paintings by Bill Renc, Linda Renc, Elizabeth Mitchell and Susan Huskey Woas, whose floral watercolor is shown here; serigraphs by Ruth Pettis; ceramic birdhouses by Stephen Fabrico; quilts by Allynda Esquinaldo; blown glass by Chuck Boux; trellises by Jeff Ganiere; and photographs by Deanna Morae.
