ZEPHYRHILLS - A 40-year-old woman was arrested Thursday, accused of spraying a girl with furniture polish.

Bonnie Lee Almond was involved in an argument with the girl, whose age was withheld from a Zephyrhills police report.

Almond grabbed a can of furniture polish and sprayed the girl in her face, the report said. Almond admitted to spraying the girl but said she sprayed the girl's head and not her face, the report said.

Almond of 6032 Parkhill Terrace faces a charge of child abuse-battery. She was released from the county jail Friday after posting $5,000 bail.
