After taking over as Admiral Farragut's football coach in May, Chris Ah Leong wasted no time installing his system.

He rushed into things on purpose. After all, the spring game was eight days away.

The crash course worked, as the Blue Jackets cruised to a 42-0 win over Naples St. John Neumann.

"I was real pleased with the way things went," said Ah Leong, who had coached at Indian Rocks Christian.

Cameron Young and Bernard Scott handled most of the workload on offense. Young ran for 64 yards on 10 carries and scored twice. Scott finished with 110 yards on eight carries and had a pair of touchdowns.

Quarterback Kraig Brown also contributed, running 50 yards on four carries and completing both of his passes for 23 yards. On defense Ah Leong said he was pleased with linebacker David Schultz.

"(Schultz) was all over the place," Ah Leong said.
