ST. PETERSBURG - The annual All Children's Hospital Telethon raised $4.1-million to help build a new pediatric care hospital next year.

The money was raised during several events Saturday and Sunday, including the telethon, "Building Miracles ... From The Inside Out."

Hospital officials said the $4.1-million will help finance the construction of a new hospital and outreach center with nearly 1-million square feet on the downtown hospital campus.

Officials hope to open the new hospital in 2007.
