Times Staff Writer
Published June 8, 2004

The city will throw a parade at noon Wednesday to celebrate the Lightning's capture of the 2004 Stanley Cup. Here's the plan (Fans who cannot attend can see it on Sunshine Network, which will air it live and at 8 p.m. Wednesday.):

1. The parade will begin at Saint Pete Times Forum Drive and Florida Avenue, and head north on Florida Avenue.

2. At Jackson Street, the parade turns east for several blocks through the center of downtown.

3. At Morgan Street, the parade heads south back to the Times Forum.

4. At Channelside Drive, the parade jogs west slightly and turns into the plaza at the St. Pete Times Forum. Then, the party continues inside the Times Forum. Everyone is welcome to attend.
