Julio Lugo, got a minute?

By MARC TOPKIN
Published June 13, 2004

QUESTION: Who plays you in the Julio Lugo Story?

LUGO: Chris Tucker, or maybe Will Smith.

QUESTION: What's in your CD player?

LUGO: La Banda Gorda (a Dominican-based merengue group).

QUESTION: Dream date?

LUGO: J-Lo. No doubt.

QUESTION: Won't you have to get in line?

LUGO: She just hasn't seen me yet. I'm better looking than Puff Daddy and Marc Anthony.

QUESTION: First car?

LUGO: A Toyota Celica. It was like an '82 and me and five friends bought it in '93 and we shared it.
