MIAMI - A Hollywood police patrolman was arrested after going to a Miami hotel under the impression he was about to meet two children brought to the United States to have sex with him, the FBI said.

Derek Roberts charged part of the fee on a credit card June 4 and met an undercover officer at the hotel Thursday to make a final payment, FBI Agent Terri Patterson said in court papers. Roberts, 29, was charged with child sex trafficking, which carries a possible 20-year prison sentence.

Father, son on scavenger hunt find woman's body

WEST PALM BEACH - A father and son on a scavenger hunt found a woman's body in a beachfront park, sheriff's officials said.

The woman, thought to be in her 20s or 30s, was believed to be a recent homicide victim, said officials, who declined to identify her until her family could be notified.

An autopsy was scheduled for Monday, said sheriff's Capt. Kenneth Deischer.

Deischer said the father and son said they were participating in an Internet-based scavenger hunt when they found the body in woods near the parking lot.
