Progress Energy head named to campus board

H. William "Bill" Habermeyer Jr., president and CEO of Progress Energy Florida, was appointed Thursday to the campus board for the University of South Florida St. Petersburg.

Habermeyer, a St. Petersburg resident, has served on the USF Foundation board, the Pinellas Education Foundation and the Florida Council of 100. His appointment by the USF Board of Trustees is for four years.
