Grandmother injured in domestic battery case

DADE CITY - A 19-year-old man was arrested Thursday, accused of injuring his grandmother.

Sheriff's reports stated that Anthony Roy Vanderhoef, of 14748 Johns Road in Dade City, pushed his 72-year-old grandmother to the ground, resulting in a chip fracture to her left hip.

The victim was admitted to Pasco Regional Hospital on Wednesday.

Vanderhoef was charged with domestic battery. He was being held Friday at Land O'Lakes Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
