DADE CITY - A 17-year-old boy was arrested Thursday, accused of throwing a brick through a bedroom window and carrying a loaded firearm in his car.

The victim told sheriff's deputies that Bobby Lee Eastham, of 14138 18th Court in Dade City, was upset over his girlfriend and had thrown an unknown object at the front of the victim's house and a brick through the bedroom window.

While authorities were on the scene, Eastham called the victim on the phone and threatened to come back and smash his head in with a baseball bat, reports said. The teen then returned but fled when he saw law enforcement officials.

He was later detained in a traffic stop. Baseball bats and a loaded 9mm carbine rifle were found in the rear seat area of his two-door Honda, reports said.

Eastham was charged with throwing a deadly missile and possession of a firearm by a minor. He was taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center.
