ARCHITECTURE

Wedding, Stephenson & Ibarguen Architects Inc., 300 First Ave. S, Suite 402, St. Petersburg, announced a contract with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, to design a 17,000-square-foot, one-story meeting house on six acres in Brevard County, $3-million.

Willingham Architecture, 1698 Manor Way, St. Petersburg, announced a contract with St. Anthony's Hospital and the Renaissance Medical Group, for design, consulting and project management services for a 3,200-square-foot addition and remodeling project, at 509 Jackson St. N, St. Petersburg, $350,000.

CONSTRUCTION

Caladesi Construction Co., 1390 Donegan Road, Largo, announced these contracts: Pinellas County Industrial Development Authority, 13,000-square-foot remodeling project, Star Center Building 200, 7887 Bryan Dairy Road, Largo, $479,500; and the city of Clearwater, pedestrian overpass at McMullen Booth Road north of Drew Street, $2.556-million.

ENGINEERING

PBS&J, 5300 W Cypress St., Suite 200, Tampa, has been selected by the Southwest Florida Water Management District to evaluate 37,000 acres of conservation lands in the Lake Wales Ridge region to identify potential environmental restoration projects of significant benefit to the area.

MARKETING

Blue Reef Creative, 245 Central Ave., Suite A, St. Petersburg, was named 2004 Outstanding Business of the Year by the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce. Blue Reef won in the 1-25 employee category. The award recognizes local small businesses who have demonstrated longevity, innovation and having a positive impact on the local economy.

Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT Inc., 5010 W Kennedy Blvd., Second Floor, Tampa, announced these sales transactions: Alfred H. Klopfer and Barbara Kris to Addison Randolph Crockett, 10,000-square-foot industrial building, 2131 Sunnydale Blvd., Clearwater, $665,000; and Investment Property Exchange Service Inc. to Asset Preservation Inc., 4,800-square-foot retail building, 3312 Lithia Pinecrest Road, Valrico, $1.33-million.

Rubin Real Estate Inc., 15500 Roosevelt Blvd., Suite 301, Clearwater, announced this lease transaction: Rubin Automobile Boulevard Ltd. to Jormac Aerospace Inc., 2,790 square feet, new lease, 4740 126th Ave., Suite C and a portion of Suites M and N, Clearwater.

TECHNOLOGY

DataGlyphics Inc., 300 First Ave. S, Third Floor, St. Petersburg, received the 2004 Thomas R. Connolly Technology Company of the Year Award, presented by the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce. DataGlyphics met the following criteria: longevity, employee growth, sales growth, innovativeness of product service, response to adversity and evidence of contributions to aid community-oriented projects.
