The North Suncoast Association of Insurance and Professional Advisors recently installed officers and had its awards ceremony at Heritage Pines Country Club.

Officers for the 2004-05 include: Gwynn Blair, president; Christine Noel, president elect; Mike Peters, vice president; Suzanne Nading, secretary; Larry Ruby, treasurer; Tim Holladay, national committeeman; and Larry Ruby, past president.

Directors include: Helen Beck, Judy Curtis, James Keegan, Michael May, Skip Wood and Dianna Yoder.

Fred May received the E. Dawn Nuckles Award; Linda Coleman received the Keegan Meritorious Service Award; Fred Stack received the Andrew Marinello Community Service Award; and Larry Ruby received the William J. Armistead Underwriter of the Year Award.

The North Suncoast Association of Insurance and Professional Advisors is open to all insurance and investment professionals.

Tag ... You're It, 11020 Northcliffe Blvd., Spring Hill, is closing its laser tag arena from 7 p.m. to midnight each Friday to provide an exclusive teen-only dance. The event is a collaboration with Zippy Records.

The teen dance will be in the unique "glow-in-the-dark" dance club and will include swirling lights, dense fog and pulsating music.

Admission is $20 for the evening and includes a meal, snacks and drinks.

Complete Technology Solutions, 15588 Aviation Loop Drive, Brooksville, and Terlep Chiropractic, 8468 Northcliffe Blvd., Spring Hill, recently implemented the mobile "Tablet" PC system that allows the practitioner to roam the office and have access to patient data at any time via a 3-pound tablet personal computer.

The Tablet PC system allows the physician to transcribe notes into the patient's records while standing by the patient's side. There is no longer the need for the health care provider to pull a chart.

John Savelli has been named vice president and branch manager for First Kensington Bank, 1300 Pinehurst Drive, Spring Hill. He was a manager for Regions Bank in Spring Hill before joining the staff at First Kensington.

Savelli is a graduate of the University of South Florida. He is a member of the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce, the Hernando Family YMCA and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. He has been a resident of Spring Hill since 1986. Savelli can be reached at 666-5200.

The Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce will have two ribbon cuttings:

The Service Corps of Retired Executives, Pasco-Hernando Chapter 439, will present a seminar that focuses on increasing business through better utilization of marketing dollars from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the SunTrust Bank conference center, 6128 U.S. 19, New Port Richey.

William "Bill" Brydia, a member of SCORE Chapter 439, will conduct a growth audit of participants' businesses with an emphasis on planning, marketing and human resource availability.

Participants will learn how to profile customers and how to determine the best type of advertising and its timing.

Joni Industries, 16230 Aviation Loop Drive, south of Brooksville, will celebrate the Fourth of July with a patriotic promotion from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 30. The event will offer free hot dogs and Coke while supplies last.

Residents may enter a drawing to win an American flag 25-foot pole kit. The drawing will be June 30. People may pick up a free copy of how to honor and display the American flag, along with a history of Flag Day and the Fourth of July.

The Nature Coast Chapter of the Professional Association of Health Care Office Management will meet at 5:45 p.m. July 13 at Oak Hill Hospital, 11775 Cortez Blvd., fourth floor, Spring Hill.

The topic of the meeting will be the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The speaker will be Joan Spencer from OSHA.

Oak Hill Hospital will have a reception for those who are new to Hernando County to introduce them to services available throughout the county.

Members of Oak Hill's staff will conduct a tour of the hospital and share information about medical services, as well as information about restaurants and entertainment, government services and schools, sports, parks and recreation, voting and vehicle registrations, and where to shop.

The reception will be at 10 a.m. July 15 at the Hernando Medical Office Building, Entrance C, fourth floor, Room 403. Refreshments will be served. Free valet parking will be available. Anyone interested is asked to RSVP to 597-6333 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily.
