Authorities search for missing boater in Pasco County

HOLIDAY - The Pasco County Sheriff's Office was searching Friday night for a 42-year-old Holiday man who jumped off a pontoon boat and into the Anclote River.

Sheriff's Office spokesman Doug Tobin said rescue teams were searching for Tim Benson. Helicopters, canines and dive teams were being used in the search, Tobin said. Two other men who were on the boat reported Benson's disappearance shortly before 7 p.m.
