Amy Fisher book coming soon

Amy Fisher, the former gun-toting teen who spent seven years in prison for shooting her lover's wife in the face, has an autobiography called If I Knew Then . . . due out in the fall. Fisher, who turns 30 in two weeks, is married and raising a son in an undisclosed Long Island community, said her co-author, Robbie Woliver. Fisher was released from prison in 1999 after serving seven years for shooting Mary Jo Buttafuoco in the head. Fisher was having an affair with Buttafuoco's husband, Joey. The $15.95 paperback details her troubled childhood, her relationship with Buttafuoco and her rehabilitation.

Zeta-Jones stalker evaluated

A judge Friday suspended the preliminary hearing for a woman accused of stalking actor Catherine Zeta-Jones in order to have a psychological evaluation of the defendant, Dawnette Knight. Judge Patricia Schnegg agreed to a request by Richard Herman, Knight's lawyer, for the evaluation. If Knight is found competent, the hearing would resume Aug. 16. Knight, who allegedly wrote numerous letters threatening Zeta-Jones, is accused of one felony count of stalking and 24 felony counts of making criminal threats. Knight issued an apology last month, claiming she had been infatuated with Zeta-Jones' husband, Michael Douglas.

SIMMONS' WIFE ARRESTED: Kimora Lee Simmons, wife of hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, faces drug and motor vehicle charges after police said she drove erratically. She was arrested Monday near the couple's estate in Saddle River, N.J.

CAGE MARRIES AGAIN: Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage married 20-year-old Alice Kim on Friday at a private ceremony in Northern California.
