Saint Leo trustee board adds 4 new members

Saint Leo University recently announced the appointment of four new members to the Saint Leo board of trustees. The new members are the following:

James Lumbra of Orlando is president of Lumbra, Robinson and Associates, specializing in business, health care, agriculture, life and health, home and auto insurance. He and his wife, Susan, are graduates of Saint Leo College, Class of 1976, and met when they served as resident assistants in the residence halls.

John View of Syracuse, N.Y., is the director of the Financial Aid and Educational Opportunity Program at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He earned his bachelor's degree from Saint Leo College in 1972. While at Saint Leo, View was active in student government, vice president of Phi Theta Chi fraternity, and president of the Inter-Fraternity and Sorority Council. He is active in the Saint Leo Alumni Association and is serving as president of the Alumni Association board of directors.

Frank Arnold of St. Leo, who has a doctorate and is associate professor of public administration and management, has been an integral part of the Saint Leo community for 17 years, joining the university upon retirement as an Air Force colonel in 1987. He is the co-author of Planning and Evaluating Health Programs: a Primer, published in 1994.

Katie Heintz of Portland, Ore., joins the Saint Leo board of trustees as the student representative to the board. She is a junior biology major. Heintz is a pitcher for Saint Leo's women's softball team, and was named Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the 2003-2004 school year. She is a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Beta Beta Biology Honors Society and Theta Phi Alpha sorority.
