TAMPA - Hillsborough Sheriff's deputies arrested a Miami man on drug and child abuse charges Wednesday night after they say he tried selling an undercover officer a kilogram of cocaine while a 3-month-old baby was nearby.

Oce Saint Louis, 33, faces charges of trafficking in cocaine. The cocaine had a street value of $50,000, officials said. Saint Louis also faces a charge of felony child abuse because his girlfriend's 3-month-old son was in a car with her while he tried to close the deal about 7 p.m., officials said.

He was being held at the Hillsborough County Jail on $252,000 bail Thursday.
