TAMPA - A 26-year-old Brandon man died early Friday when he lost control of his 2003 Ford Mustang on the Lee Roy Selmon Crosstown Expressway at 50th Street, in an area where an elevated reversible expressway is built above the existing Crosstown.

Joshua D. Witt of 1811 Tarah Trace Drive was driving east along the Crosstown Expressway in the outside lane about 3:30 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol. He lost control of his Mustang and the car hit a concrete barrier wall.
