TAMPA - It may have been their film debut.

Their role: burglars. The setting: a convenience store on Hillsborough Avenue. Action: ransack the place, concentrating on cigarettes, lighters and lottery tickets.

Police say two unknown men carried out their misdeeds for two hours and 45 minutes Friday morning, all the time being taped by the store's surveillance camera.

Before entering, the men had cut communications lines outside the small Touchdown convenience store at 3301 W Hillsborough about 3:30 a.m. Friday, police said. After three hours, the men left through the back door.

Police described one man as white, thin and with a tattoo on his left forearm. The second man is also white, heavier and with an earring in his left ear.
