Drivers gearing up for traffic delays on the Howard Frankland Bridge this weekend have another week to wait.

Signs on the bridge this week warned drivers to expect long delays between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Aug. 6, 7 and 8. But the rolling lane closures on southbound Interstate 275 originally scheduled to start this weekend have been postponed until next Sunday, a DOT spokesman said.
