Sales sizzling at local Sam's

By Times Staff Writer
Published August 11, 2004

PINELLAS PARK - Residents apparently have a healthy appetite for chicken, so voracious in fact that the Sam's Club at Park Boulevard and Belcher Road is the No. 1 seller of rotisserie chickens for the national chain.

The local Sam's also is ranked No. 2 for general sales of all Sam's Club stores. A store in Hawaii is No. 1.

Sam's is part of the Wal-Mart corporation. The Pinellas Park Wal-Mart Supercenter on U.S. 19 has been ranked No. 1 in sales for that chain.
