Man accused of having sex with girl against her will

DADE CITY - The Pasco County Sheriff's Office arrested a 19-year-old man Wednesday, accusing him of lewd and lascivious battery.
According to reports, Andrew William Whitman of 3332 Santa Rita Lane in Wesley Chapel had non-consensual sex with a 15-year-old girl in Dade City on July 28. A physical exam of the girl on Aug. 10 turned up injuries consistent with those caused by sexual abuse.
Charged with lewd and lascivious battery, Whitman was released from the Land O'Lakes jail Thursday on $5,000 bail.
