LARGO - A woman was arrested Sunday on charges she tried to suffocate her 19-month-old daughter.

Rosetta M. Dara, 31, of Largo was arrested on an attempted murder charge. She is accused of covering the child's head with a pillow and saying, "You're going to go to heaven. I want you to go to heaven," arrest reports state.

Other family members tugged her away from the child, who was unhurt. Deputies said Dara has mental health problems and earlier that day had been released from a hospital where she was receiving mental health treatment. Dara was being held at the Pinellas County Jail on Monday without bail.
