AARP schedules safe driver classes

The AARP will conduct its 55 Alive Driver Safety Program classes at these locations in September:

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 7-8, Grace Presbyterian Church, 8375 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill. Call instructor, 686-7179.

12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 8 and 15, Oak Hill Hospital Enrichment Center, 11375 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill (behind the hospital). Call instructor, 597-6331.

Noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 10 and 13, Brooksville Enrichment Center, 670 S Broad St., Brooksville. Call instructor, 544-5900.

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 10 and 17, Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 6193 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill. Call instructor, 666-4044.

8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 18, Heather Community Center, Nakoma Way, Weeki Wachee. Call instructor, 666-4044.

Noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 21 and 23, Forest Oaks Lutheran Church, 8555 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Call instructor, 686-1514.

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 22 and 29, Oak Hill Hospital Enrichment Center, 11375 Cortez Blvd. (behind the hospital), Spring Hill. Call instructor, 597-6331.

The course is open to everyone age 50 and older. The cost is $10. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate to submit to their insurance company for a possible reduction in rates.

Class size is limited; call the instructor to register.
