You may not be thinking about it, but we are. And thoughts of Christmas turn to visions of cookies. We dream of them all: rolled, dropped or squared; iced, plain and sprinkled; gingerbread, butterscotch and chocolate.
Now we want your favorite Christmas cookie recipes.
The annual Taste cookie edition, which publishes Dec. 1, will include two dozen of the most enticing reader recipes. Before you think we're jumping the gun by asking for them so early, remember the Taste section elves have to test the contenders.

The elves' eyes are not as good as they used to be, so typed submissions are preferred. However, all recipes will be considered. Please don't send original recipe cards unless you don't want them back.
