DADE CITY - An 18-year-old woman who disappeared Aug. 17 was back home after authorities found her Tuesday.

A sheriff's deputy found Tiffany Stone at the home of a middle-aged man on Lake Pasadena Road in Dade City. Stone told the deputy she had met the man at a Wal-Mart on the day she ran away and went home with him after they talked.

Stone said the man bought her clothes and took her out to dinner several times, the report stated. She told the responding deputy she was ready to go home, and he took her there.

Stone, who has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old, ran away from her home after becoming angry with her grandmother.

According to a sheriff's report, Stone's grandmother sent her to her room after she had used profanity in front of other grandchildren. Stone left the house on Berry Road and headed south toward State Road 54 instead.
