About these pages

Crimetime Saturday, 9 p.m. (debuts Sept. 25 on CBS) CBS finally got tired of being the only network to spend real money on original programs for low-rated Saturday night. So this year, viewers get a rotating slate of the network's most repeatable and popular crime dramas (CSI, CSI: Miami, Without a Trace, NCIS and Cold Case), formalizing an arrangement NBC pioneered with its use of various Law & Order shows on the week's least-watched night of TV. This also furthers the networks' new use of reruns, opening an outlet for popular episodes in the same week, rather than clogging summers and holiday weeks with old shows.
