The Green Acres Tractor farm equipment dealership, 23053 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, is among a select network of dealers chosen by McCormick International USA to sell and service its tractor line. The new red tractors bearing the McCormick nameplate have arrived at Green Acres Tractor, company president Kirk Wilson said.
Chad Huyser, McCormick's marketing director, said the dealership was selected because of its commitment to service and parts support and for its reputation among customers.

Conrad is one of 51 of the firm's more than 29,000 associates to join its 276 principals.
Doug Hill, managing partner of Edward Jones, said Conrad has been a leader in the firm. He serves as a regional leader for the area, making him responsible for the success of 56 other investment representatives.
Conrad joined Edward Jones in 1989 as an investment representative, opening the firm's branch office at 3296 Commercial Way, Spring Hill. He has served as a new investment representative support specialist, mentor trainer and growth leader.
A native of Plattsburg, Mo., he graduated from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo., with a bachelor's degree in business. Before joining Edward Jones, he worked in the insurance and banking industries.
Conrad has served as president of the Rotary Club of Spring Hill. He is also a member of First United Methodist Church in Spring Hill, where he has served as an usher and a member of the finance committee.

Dr. Robert G. Blackburn, board certified family practice physician with All-American Medical Associates of Spring Hill, recently attended the office spirometry workshop presented by the American College of Family Physicians.
The workshop was at the American College of Family Practice Center for Excellence on Procedural Medicine in Arlington Heights, Ill.
Aug. 21, Blackburn completed the spirometry "Train-the-Trainer" program. Aug. 22, he participated as an American College of Family Physician member with the Committee on Procedural Medicine.
Blackburn is on multiple national committees for the American College of Family Physicians.
Dr. Sadras Shanmugham, medical director for pulmonary services at Oak Hill Hospital, recently received additional training in pulmonary conditions and diseases at a weeklong continuing medical education course.
The pulmonary board review course featured new information about numerous pulmonary issues, including lung cancer, pneumonia and respiratory conditions. The training also provided the latest research and information regarding CAT scans, sleep disorders and exercise testing.
Shanmugham, a board member and former chairman of the board at Oak Hill Hospital, is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care.
Oak Hill Hospital, 11375 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill, has announced its "stars" - associates of the month - for August. Each month, an associate representing each of the hospital's three areas of service - nursing, ancillary and support - is chosen in a process that involves nominations and voting by the staff.
This month's stars are Edward Vandetti, Sharen Ewing and Penny Reynolds.
Vandetti is supervisor in the plant operations department, where he has worked since 1990. He lives in Brooksville with his wife, Lucy, and two of his children, Nicholas and Angela. He also has an adult son and daughter, Ed Jr. and Kim. He is the grandfather of 7-year-ol d Desiree.
Ewing works in the vascular lab of cardiopulmonary services as a vascular technician. She came to Oak Hill Hospital from Bayonet Point in February 1998. She lives outside Brooksville with her husband, Harvey. They have six children and 16 grandchildren, most of whom living locally.
Reynolds works in pretesting in the surgical services department. She joined Oak Hill Hospital in September 2000. Reynolds has lived in Brooksville for the past 25 years. She has a son, Eric, 19.
Robert Greer, owner of Serv-U 1 Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, 6387 Piedmont Drive, Spring Hill, recently announced that employee Stephen Burgess has qualified by education and examination as a certified water damage restoration technician.
Burgess joins the ranks of professionals in the cleaning, restoration and inspection industry. His certification was issued by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification in Vancouver, Wash.
The institute is a nonprofit certifying and standard-setting organization dedicated to raising industry standards through technical proficiency.
