Here is closing information related to Hurricane Ivan.
SCHOOLS
- Hillsborough County schools reopen today. Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando and Citrus schools also are open.
- All Catholic schools in the Tampa Bay area are open today.
- All University of South Florida campuses will be open today, and all classes and activities will continue as scheduled. For more details, visit www.usf.edu
- Eckerd College will remain closed through Wednesday.
- Stetson University College of Law's campuses in Tampa and Gulfport will remain closed through Wednesday. The Gulfport library will be open regular hours and the Tampa library will be open from 4 p.m. until midnight today.
- The University of Tampa is closed through Wednesday. Updates will be posted on the UT Web site and at ut.blackboard.com.
- Ringling School of Art & Design will reopen Wednesday. Offices will be open today.
ATTRACTIONS
- Busch Gardens is open today.
- Lowry Park Zoo will remain open, but will monitor the storm. Call (813) 935-8552 for updates.
- The Florida Aquarium will remain open. Call (813) 273-4000 for updates.
- The Jazzmatazz Soiree scheduled for Wednesday at the Hyatt Downtown in Tampa will be postponed to January 2005. Call (813) 258-3433.
- Florida International Museum will be closed today. Call (727) 822-3693 for Wednesday's hours.
LIBRARIES
- All Hillsborough County libraries will reopen today.
- Pinellas County libraries will be open today.
GOVERNMENT
- U.S. District Court offices in Tampa will be closed today.
- Hillsborough courts are closed today and Wednesday. Courts also will be closed Thursday for Rosh Hashana. The courts will be open today and Wednesday for court matters that are considered to be emergency hearings: first appearances, juvenile detention hearings, juvenile shelter hearings, and domestic violence petition reviews. Thursday will be a holiday schedule starting at 7:30 a.m.
- All courts in Pinellas and Pasco counties will be closed today through Wednesday. Courts were scheduled to be closed Thursday for Rosh Hashana. Courts will remain closed even if the storm does not impact the Tampa Bay area, and will reopen at 8 a.m. Friday.
CITY

GARBAGE
Residential and commercial solid waste collection will continue using the normal pickup schedule.
RECREATION
Tampa parks and recreation facilities will be open for regular programming including preschool and afterschool programs as well as sports and recreation programs.
